1. Purpose of the document

This document aims to inform you about the methods of collecting personal data. TIVOLY emphasizes the protection of personal data and respect for privacy.

2. Definition of personal data

Personal data includes identifying information such as name, photo, postal address, email, phone, birth date. It may include additional details such as DIY skill level, interests, usual tools.

4. Purposes of personal data collection

The collection of your personal data has the following purposes:

• Managing user account access
• Managing operations
• Creating a user database
• Sending newsletters
• Developing site usage statistics
• Meeting legal obligations

We inform you, when collecting your personal data, whether certain data must be provided or whether it is optional.

5. Data recipients

Primarily TIVOLY, public organizations for legal obligations, and potentially auxiliary recipients such as judicial officers.

Your personal data will not be subject to transfers, rentals or exchanges for the benefit of third parties.

7. Data retention period

Data is only kept for the necessary time. Proof-related data is retained according to legal requirements. Identity document data may be kept for up to 1 year. Opposition data may be archived for up to 3 years.

TIVOLY takes the necessary precautions to secure data and implements measures to prevent unauthorized disclosure.

9. Recording data using cookies

A cookie is a text file, often encrypted, stored in your browser. It is created when a user's browser loads a given website. The site sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Each time the user returns to the same site, the browser retrieves this file and sends it to the website server.

We can distinguish two (2) types of cookies, which do not have the same purposes:

The "Site" uses technical cookies. These cookies are stored in your browser for a period of 6 months. The transmitted data is navigation data (pages visited, product seen, product category seen,...) The legal basis for this processing is the consent you give when accepting cookies. We also share certain data (contact details) with our partners (eg Facebook, Google...) in order to send you personalized advertising on social networks. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify in whole or in part, this document at any time. The entry into force of these modifications will take effect from the publication of the new document. Your use of the "Site" following the entry into force of these modifications will constitute recognition and acceptance of the new document. Otherwise and if this new document does not suit you, you should no longer access the "Service".
