# The Ladies European Tour professional golf circuit

In 1978, the Women's Professional Golfers' Association was created with the aim of organising a women's professional circuit in Europe. This was launched in 1979, and included 12 tournaments.
Following the withdrawal of several sponsors, the circuit went through a difficult period in the first half of the 1980s, to the point where its very existence was called into question.

In 1988, the players decided to form an independent company called the Women Professional Golfers' European Tour. In 1998, this was renamed the European Ladies' Professional Golf Association, and finally became the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2000.

Since 1979, there have been 79 triumphs for France, the first by Marie-Laure de Lorenzi in 1987 and the most recent by Céline Boutier in August 2023. In all, 23 Frenchwomen have reached the top step of a European podium at least once.

For the 2024 season, the Ladies European Tour (LET) has announced its calendar ...

  • 31 events
  • 20 different countries
  • Highlights: The Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Solheim Cup in Gainesville, Virginia, and the AIG Women's Open in St Andrews.

From Kenya (February 8-11) to Andalusia (November 28-December 1), the members of the LET will visit 20 countries in 2024 across 31 stages. The season therefore kicks off in East Africa before moving on the following week to the highly lucrative Saudi Ladies International (15-18 February).

Before arriving in Europe for the Amundi German Masters (16-19 May), the European circuit will travel to several continents with tournaments in the USA, Australia and South Africa. The LET will even visit South Korea for one of the five Aramco Team Series (8-10 May).

Conversely, the players on the European Tour will remain on the Old Continent from mid-May to the end of September, with the exception of the Solheim Cup (13-15 September). There are four stops on the calendar in France: the Jabra Ladies Open (23-25 May), Céline Boutier's title defence at the Amundi Evian Championship (11-14 July), the Olympic Games (7-10 August) and the Lacoste Ladies Open de France in Deauville (26-28 September).

... and colours!

This year, the LET is recommending 10 players aged 22 and under, including Nastasia NADAUD.

At 19, Nastasia NADAUD is the second-youngest player on the list. After a confident 2023 season, 2024 is shaping up to be a great year.

After winning her card in style by finishing third at the LET Q-School, the ever-smiling Nastasia NADAUD scored three top-10 finishes in 2023 and showed great consistency thanks to her French finesse.

# Nastasia NADAUD: portrait of a golfer who has not finished making a name for herself ...

Originally from Chambéry (France), the young Savoyard developed her talent at the Aix-les-Bains golf club. She brilliantly won the French cadet golf championship, the European team championship, the German Girls Open in Germany and the LETAS in Sweden at the Goteborg Open (an event reserved for professional players).

Nastasia NADAUD concluded a brilliant 2022 season by finishing 3rd in the final of the European Cards played at La Manga Club (Spain), and she finished No.1 in the national Ladies Amateur rankings in 2022. She turned professional in January 2023, and became a member of the LET (Ladies European Tour) in 2023, which will enable her to play all the tournaments of the year.

Nastasia Nadaud's prestigious victories:

  • French Champion U18 2021,
  • Winner of the qualifying stages of the Esmond Trophy 2022, Championnat de France International U21, Saint Cloud,France,

# The partnership

For Tivoly, this partnership is quite simply an exchange.
An exchange between a young sportswoman, Nastasia Nadaud, and the Tivoly company, which is helping her to achieve her goals and improve her sport.

Of course, Nastasia Nadaud won't be using our products for her golf, but for a woman, being a professional sportswoman is a real struggle. Even if the media make us dream by sharing fairy tales and the success stories of champions, the majority of women face challenges on a daily basis, and not just on the golf course.
The window to success can close very quickly and a great deal of sacrifice is required. Female players face more obstacles than their male counterparts during their careers. They have less disposable income, fewer sponsors, less media coverage, and motherhood is often synonymous with the end of a career.

Today, women's sport is a societal phenomenon. This societal evolution is highlighting a new sporting trend that is highly competitive, more respectful and more inspiring for everyone, including the very young. Women's sport is built around strong values: respect, honour and courage.

It is around these values that we are proud to support Nastasia NADAUD in her challenges.
This partnership is a wonderful opportunity to bring together people from different worlds and backgrounds to share the same human adventure…
