1_Object of this document

The purpose of this document is to inform you about the means we implement to collect your personal data, in the strictest of your rights.


The company Tivoly attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and carefully monitors compliance with the protective provisions relating to privacy and the processing of personal data.



2_ Definition and nature of personal data

During your use of the site (hereafter: the “Site”), we may ask you to provide us with personal data concerning yourself.


The term "personal data" refers to all data that identifies an individual, which corresponds in particular to your name, first name, photograph, postal address, e-mail, telephone number, date of birth as well as any other information. that you will choose to communicate to us about yourself such as your considered level of DIY, your interests in the DIY activity, the tools you usually use.



3_ Identity of the data collection manager

The data collected on the "Site" is intended for the company TIVOLY , in its capacity as responsible for the collection of your personal data within the framework of the implementation of the "Service". TIVOLY, Anonymous Society with a capital of 11,079,900 euros, registered with the Chambéry RCS under number 076 120 021, whose head office is located at 266 route Portes de Tarentaise 73790 Tours en Savoie.



4_ Personal data collection

Your data is subject to computer processing allowing the management of your "User" account in order to meet one or more of the following purposes:


  • Manage your access to the "Site"
  • Carry out operations relating to management
  • Create a user file
  • Send newsletters. In case you do not wish it, we give you the possibility of ticking a cell expressing your refusal on this subject when collecting your data
  • Develop statistics concerning the use of the "Site"
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations


When collecting your personal data, we inform you if certain data must be entered or if they are optional.



5_ Recipients of the data collected

The data collected on the "Site" is intended for the company TIVOLY , in its capacity as data controller.

Public bodies, exclusively to meet our legal obligations, court officials, ministerial officers and bodies responsible for debt collection may also be recipients of your personal data



6_ Transfer of personal data

Your personal data will not be the subject of transfers, rentals or exchanges for the benefit of third parties.



7_Duration of storage of personal data

This is what we call the right to be forgotten.


The Data Protection Act provides that personal data may only be kept in a file, in a form allowing the identification of the persons concerned, for the period necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. This information cannot therefore be kept indefinitely.


Your personal data will not be kept beyond the time strictly necessary to manage our relationship with you.


The data which makes it possible to establish proof of a right or a contract, which must be kept for compliance with a legal obligation, will be kept for the period provided for by the law in force.


In the event of exercise of the right of access or rectification, data relating to identity documents may be kept for the period provided for in Article 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, in one (1) year. In the event of the exercise of the right of opposition, this data may be archived during the limitation period provided for by Article 8 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, i.e. three (3) years.



8_ Protection of personal data

We inform you that in accordance with the provisions of article 34 of the law of January 6, 1978, amended in 2004, relating to data processing, files and freedoms, TIVOLY takes all precautions to preserve the security of your data in order to, in particular, to prevent their disclosure to unauthorized third parties. To do this, TIVOLY implements the necessary measures to secure its IT devices. In the event that your data is transferred to a subcontractor (for hosting in particular) we ensure that the latter have a level of security that meets the required standards.



9_ Data storage by means of cookies

The cookie is a text file, often encrypted, stored in your browser. It is created when a user's browser loads a particular website. The site sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Each time the user returns to the same site, the browser retrieves this file and sends it to the website's server.


We can distinguish two (2) types of cookies, which do not have the same purposes


  • Technical cookies, which are used throughout your browsing, to facilitate and perform certain functions. A technical cookie can, for example, be used to store responses entered in a form or to store user preferences regarding the language or presentation of a website when such options are available.


  • Advertising cookies, can be created not only by the website the user is browsing, but also by other websites displaying advertisements, announcements and other elements on the displayed page. These cookies can also be used to carry out targeted advertising, that is to say advertising determined according to the user's navigation.


The "Site" uses technical cookies. These cookies are stored in your browser for a period of 6 months. You can object to the installation of these cookies, but such refusal may prevent the proper functioning of the Service.


The "site" uses Google Analytics, which is a website analysis tool provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are files placed on your device, to help the website analyze the use of the site, by its users and to compile statistics. These cookies are used to measure the number of visits to the Site, the number of page views and visitor activity. Your IP address is also collected. The shelf life of these cookies is limited to 6 months.

10_ Use of data in connection with Social Networks

We inform you that information related to your browsing is captured by social networks for the purposes of advertising targeting for their own account via cookies that are placed when you browse our site. The data transmitted are navigation data (pages visited, product viewed, category of product viewed, etc.)

The legal basis for this processing is the consent you give when accepting cookies. You can withdraw your consent by setting your choices in your browser or in our cookie manager.

We also share certain data (contact details) with our partners (ex: Facebook, Google, etc.) in order to send you personalized advertising on social networks. The data that we send from time to time (name, first name, email, postal code, telephone number ...) are encrypted. They do not allow you to be identified directly and are only used to establish a correspondence (matching) to recognize you as a User of the Sites in order to send you personalized advertising. You have the option of refusing these advertising targeting by notifying us ( see my choices section) or from your social network user account.

We also collect for our own account certain information and personal data related to your activity on the pages of TIVOLY social networks. This data is used for statistical analysis as well as for advertising purposes to improve our commercial relationship and the advertising sent to you in order to offer you a personalized and social experience.

The information collected by TIVOLY for its own account in connection with social networks is governed by these conditions and the specific conditions of TIVOLY applications. On the other hand, TIVOLY is not responsible for the subsequent use which is made of your data by social networks for their own account.

We invite you to consult the personal data protection policies of our various partners (ex: Facebook, Google, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) in order to be aware of the information that is collected by these third parties. You can also configure the access and confidentiality of your data directly on social networks. 


« Plug-ins » and social modules

Our site uses "plug-ins" or social modules. These include the small “like”, “share” buttons from third-party social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google +, etc. that you can find on our sites and applications. They allow you to like and share information from our sites and applications with your friends on social networks. When you consult a page of our "site" containing plugs-in or social modules, a connection is established with the servers of the social networks (Facebook, Twitter ...) which are then informed that you have accessed the corresponding page of the site viewed, even if you do not have a Facebook or Twitter user account, and even if you are not logged in to your Facebook or Twitter account. Social connect

The Social Connect function allows you to connect to our site with your social network accounts (for example Facebook, Google ...) to facilitate access to our services. When you log into our site with these third-party accounts, TIVOLY may access certain information in order to provide you with a personalized and social experience. Additional information to that already present in your social accounts may be requested by TIVOLY for the purposes described above. The information collected by TIVOLY on our sites and applications is not transmitted to social networks without your consent. It is your responsibility to manage your social media privacy settings when you want to log into TIVOLY services with your social media credentials.



11_ Consent

When you choose to communicate your personal data as part of the "Service", you expressly give your consent for the collection and use of it in accordance with what is set out in this document and the legislation in force.

TIVOLY guarantees that your data cannot be used for commercial solicitations without your prior consent. In the event of a commercial solicitation granted, TIVOLY guarantees you the right to oppose it a posteriori.



13_ Modifications

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify all or part of this document at any time. The entry into force of these changes will be effective from the publication of the new document. Your use of the "Site" following the entry into force of these changes will constitute recognition and acceptance of the new document. Failing this and if this new document does not suit you, you will no longer have to access the "Service".
