Inauguration of the OUTIVOLYON Labcom

On Thursday 26 October 2022, the OUTIVOLYONLABCOM (Joint Laboratory) was inaugurated in Saint-Etienne.

This laboratory brings together the company TIVOLY and its subsidiaries NECO and FFDM + 1 academic laboratory (Ecole Centrale Lyon -ENISE)

Called OUTIVOLYON, this laboratory aims to develop new generations of tools to increase the durability of safety components.

It will thus contribute to a major objective of sustainable development of mechanical systems.

The synergy between the know-how of the TIVOLY company and the LTDS research laboratory, expert in characterising the integrity and fatigue resistance of machined surfaces, will contribute to the transformation of the TIVOLY company from a supplier of machining solutions to a supplier of functions on strategic mechanical components.

OUTIVOLYON's main objective is to increase the sustainability of strategic mechanical components by working, in particular, on the following themes

-Reducing the sustainability of CO2 emissions (remanufacturing)
-Increasing the sustainability of energy production systems (maintenance)
-Increasing the reliability of safety components.
