NECO, a member of the Tivoly Group, has been selected once again as one of the winners of the 2nd Open Call of the European QU4LITY project within the H2020 initiative.
QU4LITY is a large-scale project led by the European Commission in which more than 45 companies participate with the aim of creating common European strategies that promote zero-defect manufacturing in Industry 4.0 through the creation of digital platforms, components and enablers free access.
NECO has presented its winning proposal OMETRI with which it wants to improve the quality of its products, specifically of the taps, through the standardization and control of its manufacturing process. For this, NECO develops within the framework of the project a module that relates the data of the selected pilot machine with the geometric results measured by 3D optical measurement. With this implementation, NECO seeks to increase control and knowledge of its process and thereby improve its position in the market of high-performance threading taps.
This module will be a pioneer in the industry and will increase the life cycle of the tool and improve its performance in manufacturing. NECO continues to seek to implement new technologies in its factory to continue offering its customers high quality products with high added value.
